Sewing Camps

CHOOSE ONE:

1st Session: June 4 & 5..3 spots left
2nd Session: June 9 & 10..2 spots left

9:00 am - 1:00 pm

*will add classes based on demand

• The Camp Tuition is $80.00  + $10.00 supply fee.
• Sewing Notions & a sewing machine will be provided with the supply fee received with the Camper Registration Form. 
• Extra supplies needed from the camper: 
• 3 Fat Quarters (prefer coordinating colors)
• 1 Yard (prewashed and dried) of your choice to be your skirt (cotton works best and you can use your 40% off coupon @ Hobby Lobby for it).
• 3 Projects will be completed: 
• Infinity Scarf
• Headbands (as many as they can make)
• Simple Knee-length Skirt
• A few skills incorporated in this session will be:
• sewing Straight Lines
• sewing with a Zig-Zag Stitch
• sewing with elastic bands

• 4 Fat Quarters, with coordinating color schemes if possible
• 3 Projects will be completed: 
• Bookmarks (as many as they can make)
• A Journal & Journal Cover
• A Tote bag
• A few skills incorporated in this session will be:
• sewing Straight Lines
• sewing with a Zig-Zag Stitch
• using a Rotary Cutter
• sewing Buttons
• applying Rivets
• applying Fusible Interfacing

• 2 Used Jersey Knit Tshirts (prefer Adult Small or Medium)
• 4-5 Capri Sun used packets (do not have to be pre-cleaned)
• 3 Projects will be completed: 
• Tshirt Scarf
• A Blue Jean Tic Tac Toe Game
• A Capri Sun Summer Tote
• A few skills incorporated in this session will be:
• sewing Straight Lines
• sewing with a Zig-Zag Stitch
• using a Rotary Cutter
• Painting with Stencils
• using Pinking Shears
• learning about Recycled products and the environment
